Haynes is a graduate of Spelman College and Tulane University School of Law, where she earned a Certificate of Concentration in Sports Law. In addition to being Founder and CEO of OMBI Group LLC, Haynes is also Principal of Haynes Johnson LLC, a boutique entertainment law firm handling music, film, television, and literary matters, civil litigation, estate planning, and small business needs. Haynes has nurtured OMBI Group and Haynes Johnson with over 15 years of experience into successful organizations that specialize in managing professional athletes and entertainers’ professional and personal endeavors. Founded as a full-service nonprofit consulting firm, Haynes expanded OMBI Group into a legal and business management firm servicing clients in the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, and entertainment industry. Shortly thereafter, Haynes was awarded the Chairman's Award by the Entertainment, Sports, and Art Law Section of the National Bar Association.
Haynes is a contributor to the online magazine BUneke and also a sought-after panelist and presenter for numerous lectures and seminars. She sits on the Advisory Board of the National Football Players Father’s Association and is a past consultant of the Professional Football Players Mothers Association and Off the Field Players Wives’ Association. Haynes has also served as a board member of Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith’s, The Compound Foundation, Inc.
Born into a family of entrepreneurs and raised by philanthropic parents, Haynes continues to uphold the foundation upon which she was nurtured; and as a result, genuinely developed a natural passion for giving back. She coins this passion, “Giving Gracefully”. Haynes is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Junior League of Atlanta, Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, and National Alumnae Association of Spelman College. She is a member of the Georgia and Louisiana Bar Associations.
