CEO Kimberly Haynes, Esq. recognized a gap between the information provided, and the information needed to adequately prepare and educate parents and their children on the college to professional transition. Now, the onus has been pushed DOWN the chain with the implementation of NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness). Realizing there was not a program facilitating this need, Haynes decided to create a pipeline of her own. Thus, the OMBI Group Ambassadors Program was formed.
The OMBI Group Ambassadors Program serves as a support system and conduit of sound information to connect rookie and draft prospect parents with seasoned and retired parents in the same sport who share similar experiences. Through education, encouragement, and empowerment, the Ambassador Program's mission is to foster a safe space to amply inform parents of basic and complex professional, business, and legal matters; prepare parents for transitional execution; provide parents with an opportunity to freely communicate concerns or difficulties; uplift parents who feel discouraged or defeated through a nonjudgmental support system; equip parents with necessary tools to increase knowledge and confidence; and mentor and inspire similarly situated parents.
